Kurt Sensenbrenner is a director, producer, and cinematographer who also happens to have PKU. His documentary work has appeared on major platforms including peacock, PBS, and More Perfect Union, with recent collaborations alongside Patton Oswalt, NBC, Suite Spot, and the Patton Veterans Project.
In 2017, his debut feature documentary From Mass to the Mountain aired on PBS and helped drive legislative change in Eastern Panama, where the film takes place. Since then, Kurt has earned two Telly Awards—one for aerial cinematography of wildfire operations and another for educational video production at the AOPA Air Safety Institute.
His 2022 documentary on bio-indicating butterflies won best in category at National Geographic’s Santiago Wild Film Festival.
Kurt holds an MFA in Documentary Studies and Production from Hofstra University and a BFA in Film from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
In June 2025, Kurt became the Director of Communications and Video Production at flok Health.
